FAQ's

Will you start a contract on a trial basis?

Yes. We can start any contracts with 1 to 3 months trial.

Do you have insurance?

Yes. We hold both Public and Employers liability insurance of which we can provide you a copy of.

Are all your staff vetted?

Yes. We take out an employer's reference and require proof of address and entitlement to work in the UK. We then keep all details on file.

How do we solve a problem?

A manager will be appointed to service your site. They will make regular contact to ensure things are running smoothly. On a monthly basis they will complete a quality inspection. These can be joint inspections. We will also provide a 24 hrs, 365 day a year call out should the need arise. Are staff paid good rates of pay We believe at FFS that we need to pay over the minimum wage to obtain a better standard of cleaner and keep them rather than having a high staff turn over.

Do you use sub-contractors?

We use carefully chosen approved sub-contractors for window cleaning and carpet cleaning which have been all the relevant H&S procedures. All our managers and operatives are on our payroll.

Do you do short term contracts?

Our trial period is followed by a minimum contract period of 3 months. We would need a minimum notice period of just 28 days.

Do all staff receive training and development?

Managers receive comprehensive training in the qualities need to manage the sites they are allocated. All Operative receive on-site training in all areas needed to run the site, these include H&S, day to day cleaning duties and you're on site policies like fire evacuation. More specialists training such as carpet cleaning and hard floor maintenance is given on one-day training sessions. All training is assessed with a training plan and is on going and continuous

Can you provide references?

Yes. Once you have received a quotation from us and are considering going ahead, we will be happy to provide you with a list of customers to contact. As a courtesy to our customers, we do not publicise their names or contact details.

How will we be invoiced?

Our payment terms are 30 days from invoice date on contacts and specialist works

Can you lock/ unlock and alarm and re-alarm buildings on entrance and exit?

Yes we can for smaller sites. This would need to be agreed.
